Zoned cleaning stations for Bradleys Metal Finishers
Zoned, colour-coded cleaning stations across blasting, pre-treatment and powder coating, so every brush and squeegee stays in the area it belongs to.

Challenge
Bradleys run surface finishing, abrasive blasting and powder coating for demanding architectural projects. Dust control matters. Shared cleaning equipment was drifting between the blast bays, pre-treatment and the clean powder coat booths, so operators spent time looking for it, contamination risk rose, and brushes left on the floor were damaged.

Approach
We designed a site standard with a dedicated station for each zone: purple equipment for pre-treatment, yellow for the powder coat line (mounted directly on the machine enclosure at the control point), and orange for the Metalite and preparation bays. Each board has a printed header naming the zone, a shadow for every item and a home for the wet floor sign.

Outcome
Cleaning equipment now stays at its station and in its zone. Missing items are obvious at a glance, handovers and housekeeping checks are quicker, and equipment lasts longer because it is hung up rather than left on the floor.
